    My dad has been giving each of his grown children the Daily Guidepost book every year. This has come to be very special to us as we all live spread out and when we call to catch up we usually discuss one of the passages together and how we related to it. This year he was diagnosed with Dementia so no one received the book. It felt so sad to realize that this will never happen again. While he was having a day of relative clarity, I showed him my kindle and how we can buy books online. Together I showed him that I bought it online so that he would know that I had the book. We were able to read a couple of the passages together. A moment I will treasure. He is still with us but unable to read. I intend to read to him from the Daily Guideposts for as long is I can. It is a very simple but special book that always seems to deliver the message that I need. Thank you Daily Guideposts for playing such a special role in our family. My dad was always so proud that he could send us your books.

    I've been reading Daily Guideposts for years. I love the devotionals, they always seem to be pertinent to my daily life. This is the first year I've gotten the Kindle version, and so far it seems very easy to use. The only thing I would like to add is the ability to jump to a specific author in the "fellowship corner" chapter....sometimes when I'm reading a devotional by an author, I like to read their bio and would prefer not having to flip through the whole chapter to get to that author's info.
