Bought a used copy. Buyer advertised light wear on the book’s spine but no highlighting or writing inside. That’s what I got. Mine even included an unused access code, even though it’s probably safest to never expect a used copy to include this. Came quickly and is in near perfect condition, as buyer described. Love how this drug book is organized, and all the extra features it includes are awesome (general drug classification info, specific drug names, natural herbal product info, pediatric IV med quick chart reference, BEERS drug list, commonly confused drug names, do not crush drug list, recent drug approvals, ophthalmic medications, med administration techniques, dosage calculations, normal lab values, food sources for specific nutrients, and more).

    I don't usually write reviews, but this book is excellent. I've had drug books from Lippincott and other sources and this one has been my favorite so far. It's easy to navigate and useful when I need to look up a drug in the clinical setting. My program required me to have this book, but I would have gotten it anyways!

    I like this book. I'm in nursing school and I have used it a decent amount. It's helpful. Some of the organization can be confusing when it is separated into classes like "corticosteroids" rather than alphabetically (because as a new nursing student I obviously didn't know to look for these meds under their classifications.)

    I’d give it a 5/5 but Davis has something even better than this book. It is an awesome resource while in nursing school but definitely overwhelming to look at without understanding the references and key.

    I HIGHLY SUGGEST investing in the ~$38 for the yearly subscription mobile app on your phone instead of this hard copy book and here’s why:
    1. It updates all the time with new meds, protocols, drugs taken off the market.. so no worries with having an outdated version of the book.
    2. You won’t have to carry another heavy book with you everywhere.
    3. You already have a cell phone. Why not make it your accurate and easy go-to resource?
    4. You can type what you’re looking for, drug brand name or trade name. It’ll suggest too if you’re not sure on spelling.

I also have a student version drug guide from another author (Mosby's) and as great as the color coding is on that, sometimes I still like to use this book it's instead. I rarely found any missing drug, but if it - was it was on their online resource.
