Love all his books!
I like this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone! It touches base on many different relationships. Single parents, friends, co-workers! This edition is very different from the first book he wrote for married couples years ago. And I still learned quite a lot from the singles edition.

    I've been following the 5 Love Languages Couples Edition and I love it so I bought this one for my sister who is single. She is getting a lot of use out of it. This was recommended by my therapist and I now see why. I have a much better understanding of what I expect out of my marriage and what my husband expects. It's amazing to learn that instead of treating people the way you want to be treated should instead be treating people the way THEY want to be treated. That's the key and this book unlocks the door to that and many more secrets that everyone who wants to experience the fullness of love needs.

    I wish I had read this 2 marriages ago. There was so much information in this book that I never took into consideration in my past relationships; both love and friendships. I've purchased several to give to friends and told them to read chapter 11 twice. Having scripture and other reference materials relating to what I was absorbing was not only helpful, but encouraging.     I found this book to be very helpful, it even showed me how compatible I am so far with the person i'm interested in and what love language he is. There where two parts, I did dislike while I respect religious people and their views, I found some parts of this book frustrating. I'm not religious and so some parts I disagree with, I used to go to church everyday and be very sex til marriage and so on. My life and prayers led me else where. I do think sex should be looked at and understood in more then one manner. I saved sex till marriage and it was awesome but when I started dating and wanted to go there yes before marriage, and only if I felt a special connection, I didn't know what I liked or what I wanted. So I tried many things and so on. Doing this also helped me look back and get an idea of their love language is. Basically one chapter mostly the sex part I literally skipped two pages because I got tired if listening to got this god that. So I found it hard to relate and understand this part by the end of the book I felt it helped but also that it pushed religion on me waaay to much it got excessive at the end and made me loose interest in the book itself. I'd find it more helpful with less biasedness towards Christians and not all types of people. Give things all people can relate to and agree to. Thatnks for the most part I'll definitely use most aspects in my life from this point forward.
