- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2009When looking around for general books about Axis aircraft of WWII I was not coming up with many results. I found this one and was pleased with my purchase. It covers all the main aircraft and their specifications. Good pictures and drawings. It doesnt get into super detail of every plane, but as a general reference for this subject it is a good and inexpensive book to ad to the aviation library :)

- Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2014I have all three volumes of this series and treasure them. I was surprised that the entries were not by country of origin but alphabetical. Nations such as Romania seem to have been overlooked. A volume for "the rest" including British Commonwealth, Russian, Romania, France and Holland would complete the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2014One of the best and concise books on military aircraft , I have all 3 from the author David Mondey.
