- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2023Bought this when my friends and I hiked through Yellowstone. It was a good read and I left it at the campsite for the next hikers.

The Yellowstone National Park book has an eclectic mix of photos and historical information that supplements natural history types works.
Some historical photos of natural features like Old Faithful taken shortly after the area was discovered by Whites illustrate what a good thing it was that the place became a protected national park.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2013I am a family genealogist and have been gathering books written by or about Whittleseys. I don't always read each of them from cover to cover but do copy the covers and inside jacket leaves, preface and other pertinent information to post on our family website for sharing with the whole family.
