Poorly made
I haven’t taken the exam yet but I will say I just received this book yesterday and it is falling apart. The binding has come unglued and the pages are falling out. I have the 2018 version and this never happened. Disappointing for a book of this price. Literally I have opened it twice.

Great study book. I used this coming from Ohio and reciprocating my license to Texas. I read this through twice and took notes on all of the number to remember along the way. I felt prepared for the test and didn’t have any surprises. If you are buying this more than 3-6 months after it is updated that year, I suggest going to the board of pharmacy website and looking up any rule changes since the date of publication. There were a few things that had changed (like CE requirements) that I would have missed if I hadn’t looked at recent rule changes.
    Highly recommend!

This was a great review. Would have give. 4 1/2 stars if possible. Only reason I didn’t give 5 is because there is no index in the back of the book. I find indexes very helpful. I did like the comparisons between federal and state laws.

This book is really good! Literally I studied for 3 day and able to pass Tx law with decent score. I would highly recommend for any one looking to take Tx MPJE. Book looks short, but it contains all the essential information that you need to know for the exam.

I have been waiting to get my MPJE results before reviewing this book. So far, it was an easy/good read. If all you read is this book, it will be enough to get you a fair score (80's-90's). I went to pharmacy school in OH and took the OH MPJE exam last year, although there were a few differences, TX law was not total "shock" compared to OH. However, there were basic things that I would've preferred for this book to cover, e.g last date to get refills for non-controls and CIII-V, but they didn't. So during the exam, when I got questions like this, I relied on the knowledge I gained from school or from when I was studying for OH law. There were many other things as well, but I cannot remember right now. I guess it is a "review guide" so do not expect to get a 100% from studying only this book. The main reason I did not give the book a 4-star is because on the first round of reading it, the pages on the back (from chapter 5) ripped out. I thought that was too low of a book quality considering that it was not a very thick book for $80. Other than that, I believe the book is worth it. It helped me study TX law in 2 weeks and I passed.

Incredibly helpful review. Highlights important points in "study tips" sections. I read this book 3 times, about a week before taking my exam, and passed the first time. This is the only thing I studied. I would highly recommend.

    Fellow Farmacists,

Sought reciprocity in a new state and used this and Quizlets (made by others). I read the book, did not finish the last few sections, but passed. I found the book very comprehensive, very readable, and if you actually read the whole thing, and study it, you’d probably pass with flying colors. Highly recommend. You don’t need anything else.
