- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019You have probably seen a little free library in your neighborhood or town, but have you ever wondered how they got started? This book tells the story of Todd Bol, the man who brought them to life.
As a child, Todd loved heroes, but as someone who struggled to read, he didn’t feel very heroic. When he got older, he combined the joy he got from helping others with the memory of his mother who taught the neighborhood kids how to read to create a little library. It took a lot of work and help from others for this idea to take off, but I am so glad he didn’t give up!
Not only would this be a great book to share with your class or at home with your own children, but it may just inspire a child to make a positive difference in the lives of others!
