This seems to be universally recognized as the go-to text for the legal aspects of land surveying, and its information is extremely useful. It is unforgivably poorly edited, however, in some cases making the information hard to digest. Apparently the next edition has corrected many of these errors. Hopefully your institution of higher learning will transition to the next edition before you take the course.

I have used this book in 4 classes, so far. It was required for 2. I have used it as a reference in several school projects. Great for anyone in Land Boundary work or someone working in Land Law. Also, has some good references in it for you to use.

Mediocre condition, some water damage and a little banged up, but useable

Love this text. Was required for a boundary law class and will definitely be kept in my collection for future reference.

This is a necessary component to any land surveyor. In our profession, there needs to be a clear understanding of boundary principles. One thing this could cover but did not, is the lawyers who pressure us to make calls that run contrary to our evidence.

This publication covers a preponderance of topics to provide objectivity to what can be a highly subjective matter. Concepts and principles are delineated in meaningful ways and the applications are expounded upon.
A must for all persons involved with land management, use, development, and preservation.
