Disappointing

Disappointing
Well, I paid $7 for a book that was marked $1,25, with the pages falling a part, the spine thorn and so on. I knew it was not new, but the condition should not be that. I am keeping it for personal reasons. But it was unpleasant and upsetting to receive it in these conditions.

This is the fourth copy I've bought. I teach college reading strategies and a good share of my students are second language learners. Sterling North is an excellent writer and I often suggest this book and North's book about George Washington. These books can keep an adult's attention and my students always like reading them.
