- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2014I ordered two books from this seller and they were shipped the same day and together so I received them at the same time. The price was way cheaper than if I had bought the books in the school bookstore, and since I am going to school out of pocket this semester I would not have been able to use financial aid anyways. The books were as listed (used, normal wear and tear) and they had all the pages. I am totally happy with this purchase and will look to buy from this seller for the rest of my textbook needs.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2013This manual provided for great lab experience, reading the prework material gave me the skills I need to be prepared for each lab session. It allowed our lab instructor to go more in depth with her knowledge and stimulate the class more.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2013the pictures and descriptions were good, and we used them in class occasionally. i wish we used them more, but it isnt necessary sometime bc we get handouts. anyways, the pics were good examples of topics.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2014A majority of the pages I needed for my class were missing! VERY disappointed. I could not complete my assignments and had to ask the professor to copy them for me. WHY did I pay money to rent this book?
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2014Came as described, in perfect condition. I am glad to finally have my book here for all my college work!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2013This lab manual is pretty bare bones. There is a lot of pictures for the exercises and there are maps and all sorts of things. From a student perspective, It is not as good as one would think. The exercises are poorly written with bad direction. Half the time you don't know what figures the questions are referring to, and the maps are so bad! Every map is just horribly copied into the book that you cant see much detail. you need a magnifying glass just to read the labels (if there are any) and none of them have legends! If you are an instructor that is deciding on a lab manual, please save your students some trouble. Don't chose this Manual!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2016Clear and thorough. Most useful for deepening appreciation of geology studies.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2012bought this for daughter for college. Will be looking again after the holidays for her next semester. I would recommend

4.0 out of 5 stars Great University book
Bought this for my son's first year in university. What can you say about a book I only wish it had been a bit cheaper, but this appeared to be the cheapest i could find.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ridiculously priced!
For the size and content of the book, the price is far too high. Seems that the publisher is aware that geology students HAVE to purchase this as part of study so charge silly money 'because they can' .......Hmph!
