- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2019I thoroughly enjoyed reading this text from the first page to the last.
It is written in a very accessible style. New terms and concepts are introduced with just the right amount of explanation to enable comprehension by the novice while avoiding burdening or annoying the more knowledgeable reader. Content is structured to build understanding of fundamentals or prerequisite knowledge before diving into discussing the related pathophysiology; ie. Reviewing the anatomy, structure, and normal functioning of a system before discussing the pathophysiology of diseases or disorders that can affect that system.
Some systems are more well covered and in greater depth than others; some of the units near the end seem to have received a lighter treatment.
Highly recommend this title.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2022Personally when it comes to it I rather have real books but the ebook was great and I was able to follow along with the assignments I had in college
- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2019The main complaint i see is about the material of the book but if you take care of it you should be fine. I'm definitely keeping this around for nursing school
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2021I believe that my DIL was satisfied.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2019I enjoyed this book. I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't as in depth as my med-surg textbook. If the subject matter is cardiac related, I'd like to know why certain cells react a certain way, not just a brief overview.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020Didn't end up needing it as a requirement for my class, but great book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cet excellent livre est un classique
