Really well explained, lots of pictures and diagrams, logically laid out. Very helpful for my MSc, and I then lent it to a novice owner who had accidently bought a mare in foal - and they found it useful too. Includes lots of detail about AI techniques and sensible advice for the management of mare and stallion. Strays into a few behaviour areas that are a little beyond the expertise of the authors, but a minor annoyance in an otherwise comprehensive manual.
