- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2018Had to purchase for my interpersonal communications course. However, it's actually a really good text to help oneself understand communications with others and the way one communicates and views communication. My professor was really great too. Some can view this text as a "self improvement" book, which you can take it in that context, however I utilized the text to gain a better understanding and a different perspective of the communications topic. I know I enjoyed reading this informative text.
You get a hint that the author is religious (not sure which) but in all honesty, I never once felt like the author was pushing his beliefs to the reader. He conveyed information and understanding very well in this text.
