Have you ever wondered what it was like to live during pioneer times?

Laura Ingalls Wilder was a girl that grew up in the pioneer times. She wrote a collection of 8 books about her life on the prairie with her family. To this day her books are read by people everywhere. It is fun to read about a girl growing up in the old times. In this book Laura is a teacher who is kind to everyone. She helps her family with work, such as homework. In this story I learned something new about history that helps to persevere through life. I would recommend this book for people of all ages!

The book begins telling you that the "little house on the prairie" was "near Drum Creek" and Laura listened to the Osage Indians there . . . but the closest point Drum Creek is to the site of the Ingallses' cabin was about 12 miles away.

Man, you all can't spell!! Laura's husband name was "Almanzo" and her sister was "Mary'' and they called her baby sister "Carrie'' for short. If you can't spell "Mary'' you need some serious schooling!!
