- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2014The book I received was not in very good condition. The book has some water damage and the pages are wrinkled quite a bit. A lot of the pages have answers written down in ink which is annoying.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2009I have been studying Spanish for the past 13 years. I have lived and worked abroad and currently work as a teacher and a professional Spanish to English translator. Obviously I have an extensive working knowledge of Spanish; however I never like to get too comfortable in my language skills because I feel like that is when errors can become fossilized. I have searched high and low for a grammar review book that addressed the very subtle grammatical points that separate an advanced Spanish student from a near-native one. This is the book! I like that the instructions and grammar explanations are all in Spanish and that the book is a spiral, so I don't have to stuggle with keeping it open or having it take up too much room. There is also plenty of space to write the answers as well as space to make additional notes. Also, the answers are in the back, so you can check your work! As a teacher, I feel that this book would also be appropriate for intermediate learners looking for a challenge and/or extensive review of the main tenses as well as a tool for learning more native-like speech.
