- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2013My college aged daughter needed this math book and the university book store wanted 2x as much for the same text book. Thirty years ago when I went to college, you didn't have a choice about where to get your text books, thank god for the internet!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2014I have taken many a college classes, included several math classes, and have generally done very well in all of them. It is difficult to find a good math textbook, but this one, above all, is by far the worst written math textbook I have ever encountered. To introduce concepts, the book provides one brief example then proclaims you ready to perform the assigned questions at the end of the chapter. The examples are crammed into a tiny text box and are not helpful at all! The examples are difficult to follow and the author does not provide several examples to show the different scenarios in which the concepts can arise. In short, this is one of the worst textbooks I've ever had.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2017The book I got which was used, came in pretty good condition. The corners of the book were a little worn down, but that was pretty much the only thing. Overall I was very happy with the book and the price, I got.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2016The book is great and is helpping me in my class.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2015This book came right in handy for my college class because the one I order from Cheng.com didn't have all the necessary pages which was a waste of money.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2020My book rental came with a few broken pages. The book itself has some errors but that's because of the author. It was a great book to review algebra.
