- Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2024Book has a wide range of practice problems and i really like it. It is a good guide for filling in the gaps left behind from my undergrad.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2015A very complete treatment of traditional financial mathematics. For example, it cleared up questions I had about mortgage payment divisions into interest and principal parts and the true equation for the effective yield rate given the market yield rate along with the inflation rate.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2007This don't work for me because I need to start at a more elementary level. It appeared that this book had a lot of solved problems and would be very helpful to the appropriate student level. My mistake.

5.0 out of 5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for last minute revision
This book is extremely useful, especially during exam time. It has a lot of examples which, if done enough times, you will master the topic. It has an easy approach to helping you understand the topic. I found that the lecturer would not give enough examples to work on and this made me feel that I was lacking a comprehensive understanding. This book solved that problem and once I completed the book, I felt that I had truly mastered the subject. Mathematics/Financial Mathematics are subjects which require practice to fully underhand them and therefore being able to do examples is key to do this.
