I had the book I needed in time for the class at a GREAT price. It was a slightly different edition than I was looking for, but appears almost identical to the one needed.

My package came in the second day of the earliest arrival. The book was in great condition and came with the disc as it said.

I have purchased many books, and sold many, on Amazon. When I received this book I found that it was not the edition that I had sought. I had been led along the Amazon pathway to the seller site. I needed a 10th edition and bought this book with that understanding. When delivery was made I found the book to be in good condition, however, for my MBA class it is quite deficient. Much of the internal information has been altered and my instructor will not make allowances for edition differences. He suggested that I might want to get the correct edition. Unfortunately, I cannot quite afford to buy two books for the same class...I have a current 4.0 but by the time I get out of my current class, utilizing the WRONG BOOK, I may very well have dropped in GPA. Very disappointed in seller and Amazon. I know the review says this was the paperback edition...WRONG, AGAIN...THIS IS HARDBACK BOOK EDITION.

5.0 out of 5 stars Operational Research - an accessible and easy going starter book
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 28, 2013
Operational Research is a mishmash of different subjects which by accident or design provides invaluable help to business as well as being of interest to mathematicians. Attempting to get a foot hold to understand the topic without being mesmerised by symbolic structures has been a tricky quest, but as an initial starting position this is the book to have. Stevenson's book assist those who lack the confidence in maths to understand the practical nature of Operational Research through a series of well structured and throughout explanation and exercises. The explanations are easy to following Queuing theory, Simplex, Stock Control (Inventory) all are made completely clear.

To get to H.A. Taha's Operational Research will require a little more effort perhaps with the help of Operational Research Analysis and Applications by Wilkes. M. but to start this excellent book can not lead you far wrong.
