The story is very cute and will be a good book for their moms to read to them to help them start the conversation about what a flower girl is. However, this book does not explain what a flower girl is very much, it is more about a young girl misinterpreting it and then learning what it really means. However, by reading the book and pausing to point out the things that will be the same, different, etc about the wedding this book could be very effective at helping young girls to visualize the upcoming event.
