This book arrived in a padded mailer, shrink wrapped and the ends were protected by cardboard wrapped around it. It was in immaculate condition and arrived 3 days prior to the date they stated. Can I give them a 10?!! Thank you so much for caring about how the book would fare during shipping by taking the time to fashion the cardboard ends.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2015The pizza recipes I've tried so far are delicious. However, the dough recipe does not work!!!!! It is mushy and is not nearly enough dough to make 2 9-inch pizzas. I use the Betty Crocker pizza dough recipe instead:
Dissolve one packet of yeast and one Tablespoon sugar in one cup very warm water. Stir til dissolved. Let sit until yeast bubbles; about five minutes.
Add 3 Cups flour, 3 Tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon salt.
Knead for five minutes by hand or in KitchenAid mixer with dough hook on lowest speed.
Let rest about 30 minutes, until doubled in size approximately.
Divide in half. Make a ball with each half and flatten each into a 9-inch circle with slighly built up edges to be the crust. Do this on a lightly floured surface, and dust your hands with flour too so the dough doesn't stick to them. Put the toppings on and bake.
I turned my oven on to 500 and cooked the pizzas on the middle rack. Took about 20 minutes each. It just doesn't compare to a wood fired oven, but the results were still great!
