Product Description
One of the most distinctive and celebrated names in modern Japanese cinema, there s no other filmmaker quite like Shinya Tsukamoto. Since his early days as a teenager making Super 8 shorts, he has remained steadfastly independent, garnering widespread acclaim while honing his own unique and instantly recognizable aesthetic on the margins of the industry. Frequently exploring themes of urban alienation, physical transformation and psychosexual obsession, his films cross genre boundaries, defying straightforward classification. This exclusive collection gathers together eight feature-length films and two shorts from Tsukamoto s diverse filmography, including his most recent offering his samurai drama Killing, making its home video premiere.

Got it yesterday just skimmed thew it love the new special features just wondering why Bullet man wasn't in the set, but still a MUST HAVE set. ..
'Nuff said.

The movies are either two on a disc, or three (when the disc includes a shorter film)... but at the average length of each movie being less than one and a half hour, this makes it more compact physically without compromising the compression on the films. The disc sleeve artwork is double-sided, high lighting one film on each side (The eight feature films In the set get artwork treatment).
For those that enjoy weird, bizarre, stylish, and often brutal visual introspections. Not recommended for children, this is a selection of mature auteur film works.
Negative point : some bonus like the short that inspired tetsuo could have been included and for sure the tetsuo 3 should have been in it but still a great box.
