I love this charger. It's compact, has an LCD display to know EXACTLY what the status is of each individual battery when it charges, and quickly juices up Ni-MH & Ni-CD AA & AAA batteries, in 2-3 hours or less. It comes with its own dedicated adapter to plug into the wall, which is part of the reason why I've always received strong and consistent results across all 8 bays, as opposed to just 2 or 4 bays. I love this charger too because you know exactly what levels your batteries begin, go through, and end at, throughout the entire charging process, but above all, I've noticed my batteries are charging super fast. The price was not too bad either, at $22. I believe in rechargeable batteries, and personally, hate to throw away 'good batteries' - after a single use. I intend on keeping this charger for many years to come. The only 'negative' I have is that if the adapter were to break, the charger wire gets frayed, either plug end breaks off, etc. you would need to find a replacement charger, which I'm not sure the company offers. Highly recommended item. 5-Stars for the Quality. 5-Stars for the Price. 5-Stars for Outstanding Results.

For the past several years I have been using Eneloop batteries with Eneloop chargers. I have been pretty happy with them so far, but their cost was a tad high.

So recently, when I needed a new set of rechargeable batteries, I decided to go for something new. I picked PowerOwl batteries with this RayHom 8-bay charger to try and see if they indeed held up to the good ratings here. To my very pleasant surprise, in the brief period I have owned these so far, they have exceeded my expectations.

This charger is very thoughtfully made. Each of the 8 bays has an indicator saying how much a battery has been charged. By contrast the Eneloop chargers only have a single LED that indicates whether the battery is charging, or is fully charged (without indicating how much has been charged).

The other area where I found the RayHom was better was in the snug fit of the AAA batteries. With the Eneloop you always get the feeling that the AAA batteries haven't really sat well in the charging slots, but there is no such issue with the RayHom.

The charger is really fast, and I have had multiple instances of fully drained batteries getting recharged in about 4-5 hours.

All in all I am pleased. Time will tell if the charger holds up, but for now it has become my default charger for everything needing a top-up.

It really is no big deal. I still give it a 5*

Charges fast. Very lightweight and quiet. I like the LCDs that let you know when the batteries are charged. Works with NiMH rechargeable batteries but will not charge Li-Ion rechargeable AA or 14500 batteries. That is fine because the description did say it was for NiMH and NiCad batteries, but there were some questions about whether it would charge Li-Ion where other users had said yes, so I wanted to put this to the test. Does not have an auto-discharge or storage feature, but I don’t need those. Bought just enough for our game controllers and lightsabers and they work great. Definitely would recommend.

this device is a great charger checking and charging individually exactly as supposed to. I have no complaints about the power input or the build aside from the issue that you cannot read the screen except if you are holding the device at a very specific angle, it is as if they forgot to put a polarizer on the display or something as it is not readable when placed on a table or other surface making a great device mediocre at best.

They have contacted me letting me know that they are changing suppliers and the device should have the proper quality control that it needs. If they follow through they will have a spectacular product.

Ce chargeur charge 8 batteries à 1200ma. Lorsque la charge des batteries est indiquée terminée (pleine), les batteriers continuent à chauffer. Donc le chargeur ne s'arrête pas même si les batteries sont pleines. La vie des batteries va être diminuée si elles sont laissées trop longtemps dans le chargeur, par exemple une nuit complète, en raison de la température élevée.
