It has deep emotion, something a lot of comedies fail to have. I think a movie is truly art when it can be extremely funny, but also have character depth and a good plot. You can see why characters are this way, how they think and act, and why they do the things they do. The world is excellently created to. Watch it.

Megamind segna un ulteriore rilancio della Dreamworks: è un film che si pone ad un livello più elevato dei precedenti (anteriori, per intenderci, a Dragon Trainer), con un'ironia non banale né demenziale, che si appresta ad una sana risata. La storia non è scontata ed è un soggetto molto singolare. Un film che di sicuro divertirà la famiglia, e che verrà apprezzato sia dai giovani (impossibile non provare simpatia per i personaggi come Megamind e Minion) sia dai grandi (i quali riconosceranno molte citazioni a diversi film). Graficamente è magnifico (si avvicina agli alti livelli della Pixar, evidenziando così la nuova tendenza della Dreamworks a storie più studiate e films più curati), con un'animazione curata e particolareggiata nelle scene; il doppiaggio lo apprezzo molto, con voci azzeccate per i personaggi e una recitazione impressionante (devo dire che batte il doppiaggio originale), una colonna sonora che emoziona.
Per quanto riguarda l'edizione:
- Per il video nulla da ridire, se non rimarcare la qualità e i colori della grafica, rese perfettamente nell'edizione Blu-Ray
- Per il comparto audio, pur essendo in lingua originale Dolby True HD 7.1, in Italiano è ancora Digital 5.1 (a differenza di edizioni di altri films d'animazione), ma non preclude l'immersione sonora nel film, che si gode comunque strepitosamente.
- Per i contenuti, ne troverete di tutte i colori: oltre al cortometraggio originale allegato al film, ci sono scene eliminate, dietro alle quinte nel lavoro di animazione delle scene, un videofumetto... Insomma, se siete appassionati troverete molte informazioni e curiosità.
Se siete appassionati del genere di animazione non potete lasciare Megamind inosservato: vi catturerà con i personaggi, la storia, l'animazione.
Inoltre, il prezzo e la spedizione Amazon sono sempre impeccabili!
Un megafilm consigliato per un megadivertimento.

Ce film est une vrai perle et je me demande encore pourquoi il a fait un tel flop et reçu de si mauvaises critiques. À vrai dire, on avait déjà eu le cas avec Happy feet...
Si vous avez connu les séries animées de super héros (je pense en particulier à la série Batman de la Warner), vous apprécierez les références ironiques qui ponctuent ce film. Si vous en êtes resté aux Tom & Jerry ou autres Fous du volant, vous apprécierez (en tous cas ça m'a fait un bien fou) qu'on prenne à contrepied le manichéisme habituel de ces animés en montrant un "super-héros" (copie de superman) aussi imparfait et criticable que n'importe qui.

Les personnages sont attachants, drôles, et de nombreux ressorts scénaristiques sont inattendus. Jusqu'aux dernières séquences, vous pourrez être surpris, attendri ou amusé. Un film auquel il faut donner sa chance, d'autant plus si vous avez trouvé que certains grands succès du box office (Shrek, Madagascar, ...) manquaient de profondeur.
