The lamp style is beautiful and the price very reasonable.
One person can assemble in less than an hour. Assembly requires hanging the string of crystals (which come preassembled into strings of length 1 to 65, connected via keychain rings) in two circles to the top ring. It's easier to do the inner circle followed by the outer.
I too experienced the slant issue that several reviewers have complained about - even if you start off with a straight pole with tight connections at the base and between the pole pieces the pole will slant due to the weight (8+ lbs) of the crystals and top will look tilted. However, the slant can be fixed by a 9/16" wrench to tighten the lower nut at the top (see image). Note that given the screw depth it may be difficult to tighten using socket style wrenches.
Instruction says use 3 40W bulbs, label on lamp says 100W max, I used 3 16W inShareplus daylight white 1500 lumen E12 LED Corn Bulbs and the light was enough for a small room. A remote to turn on/off would be nice but the foot switch isn't bad, as a switch on the pole is impractical given the style.
Customer service was good (as they responded to the slant issue and provided the picture explaining how to correct) but not great (as they didn't offer to replace my base which came slightly scratched or provide a photo of instructions for their similar but slightly more expensive 2 wave lamp that I requested).
Overall, I'd say the current 4.5% rating is just right.
