I recently bought a crock pot and I tried this cook book. Guess what? this book is very easy to read and follow and the recipes are too good and easy to cook.if you want to loose some pounds or you have cravings to try some different foods and if you are passionate to cook by yourself, this book is the perfect one!! Kudos to Loretta Wagner.

Eating keto and exercising regularly easily lead me to eating a lot of the exact same stuff. I spend a lot of time prepping and cooking vegetables and meats mostly - so I bought a new slow cooker many months ago, but still ended up eating the same stuff over and over. A very good feature about these recipes is that they are easy to follow - but detailed nutrition info for the recipes ISN’T included, in case you’re looking for that. I wasn’t - so if you’re a veg and meat mostly kind of person you’ll be very satisfied with this cookbook also. And extra spices and other ingredients besides the big ones are almost always easily found in a supermarket.

Additionally, my girlfriend - who of course has more preferences for how things should taste (Specifically, GOOD lol) was pleasantly surprised about with a few of the recipes I made so far. So, it passes the girlfriend test.

Two quick notes also - as others have mentioned here, my book had no pictures inside - just b&w text, and most of the recipes are to be cooked in 4 hrs (in case overnight/all day timing is an issue for anyone).

My husband and I have just started the Keto lifestyle. I am constantly looking on Pinterest, facebook groups, etc. The best part is that all of this can be thrown in the crockpot. I absolutely love love love the beginning where it lays out what food are Keto friendly. We're new to this way of eating, so that was helpful. Overall, it's quick and easy recipes for the crockpot but we're still eating food that will help us get in and stay in ketosis.

Like the Keto diet, these provide some quick and easy meals. The description of the diet highlights and the goal of the cookbook was good. Given the price, I did not expect a lot of color pages but it would have been nice to have some key pages with images of the top recipes.
In some cases the directions were a bit vague. One of the recipes called for 2 TBSP of some spices but it was not clear if it was an even mix of the spices, totaling 2TBSP or 2TBSP of each spice.

Overall, it has some good recipes but there could have been a bit more time put in by the author or publishing editor to clarify some of recipes.

Its simple clean pages clear text all that jazz. The one thing I didnt like about it was a lack of a food based index. There is the table of contents and it doesnt contain an absurd amount of recipies so one can sort through the titles and what have you but one is still used to having an index where things are sorted by the primary food item or under multiple things (ie something with eggs and ham might be under eggs.. and under a ham list)

I have found the recipes easy to make and tasty. The book's production quality is low as though it was put together quickly on a shoestring budget. There are a number of typos. For example, the author will say to use 3-4 tomatoes (presumably fresh) in the list of ingredients; however, in the discussion it will say put mix in the tinned tomatoes, with no reference to quantity. Some of the references will confuse American readers. The author refers to pumpkins, when Americans would mean butternut squash. So there is a lot of room for confusion and error. You have to watch out for these things. With patience, you can figure it out but it detracts from the reliability of the recipes.

Been on Keto for 5 weeks now. Having 2 kids and both my wife and I have busy work schedules. Having these recipies to just toss in the crock pot has been a life saver to actually stay on this diet!

I’ve gotten my BMI and body fat percentage down out of the overweight into the normal category in just 5 weeks! Having good recipes to keep you going is the key! If your thinking about getting this, just pull the trigger.

This book appears to be someone's home publishing project, rather than a "real cookbook."

The last page contains a stamp, stating, "Made in the USA, Middletown, DE, 06 January 2018' (suspiciously, a little over a week after I ordered it) leading me to believe that it's printed and bound to order.

Paging through the book, it seems to be the "author's" personal collection of recipes, copy/pasted from assorted websites or other, cookbooks, formatted in MS Word, printed on demand, and sold as a "cookbook." There's numerous formatting issues: "Crock Pot" vs. "Crock pot," and no trademark symbols for brand name ingredients, like "Stevia," just to name a few.

The ingredient lists contain some oddly worded ingredients (page 27: "6 red peppers (capsicums)..." for example,) and use strangely British words to describe other ingredients, ("beef mince" and "lamb mince" vs "ground beef" and "ground lamb," for example,) which fuel my belief that these recipes were culled from other sources.

There are no nutritional data anywhere in the book, as you would expect to find with a specific diet cookbook.

The $6 price tag should have thrown up red flags, I guess.

This is an AMAZING cookbook!!!! It has many many good tasting recipes in it that my kids really like to eat. It has a very good chicken recipe in it that has turned into my kids favorite meal. I love the fact that I can put a meal on in the morning and when we get home at night we have a nice meal waiting on us and taste like i have been working hard in the kitchen for hours .

One of my goals this year is to learn how to cook healthier meals for myself. This book is the perfect guide to learn how to make fast and easy ketogenic recipes using a crock pot. There are plenty of healthy and delicious recipes and the instructions are easy to follow even for beginners like me. Great stuff.

I found some great recipes in this book. There are a few typos, but I looked past those. I only gave it a four, because there are no carb, fat, etc listings for the recipes.
