This book is a detailed and straightforward nutritional guide to avoid disease, inflammation, and to be healthy overall. If you put in the work you get the results.

Good health info. Recipes limited and very restrictive. The recipes are dishes that would always be keto, like stews, soups, salads, fat bombs. If you want creative keto recipes, try some of the trim healthy mama cookbooks, or coconut flour baking books.

Dr mercola keeps stressing the importance of tracking carbs, fat and protein, BUT NOT ONE recipe includes this information. Also too many recipes include ingredients that are hard to purchase in rural areas. Instead of a chef you should have used a food blogger who stresses real food for real people.

I love Dr. Mercola, and Dr. Amen. I read nearly all of the books, and I was anticipating this cookbook. What I wasn't anticipating on was the lack of fun in the foods of this cookbook. I am a huge low carb eater and cannot even believe there is not one good recipe I would eat. The food is borrrrring. Good thing I have a kitchen and creativity. But do read the book Fat for Fuel, you won't be disappointed. Really, you won't. The book has a lot more information than the cookbook.

Just a waste of money. Should have included a simpler plan. I cook a lot and don’t mind cooking, but these recipes have ingredients that are hard to find, very French. The cookbook shuld have included receipies with avocados and the healthy fat mentioned in the book. Not practical at all, and probably not what Dr. Mercola eats for himself. Don’t waste your money for French expensive receipies, you can find similar online. The cookbook is not a reflection of the fat for fuel book at all, you’ll be disappointed.

I read some of the critical reviews, and I agree with most. To boot, the book is very difficult to navigate; the table of contents is useless. After some searching around I found one can use the Index to go to individual recipes; however, on the Kindle reading app the links don't work! I am very disappointed and wish I had not bought the book.

I liked the fermentation recipes. Unfortunately the recipes don’t include carb, and protein count per serving, nor what actually constitutes a serving.

I would have to order or find a store that carries ingredients for most of these recipes. This is not a book for a typical grocery store shopper.

Just purchased on my kindle. Looking through recipes and the "product description" states "all recipes include complete nutrition facts"! Have I received a different copy as there is nothing with each recipe, so how do you know what fat, carbs, protein I am consuming. Unfortunately if there is no answer I will have to return.
