Written Notes...
I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with receiving this book that has notes written and underlined sections within its meaty sections.I would definitely not have ordered this is known about this...The book itself, however does have the information needed for my transition into the Emergency Department.

Remember all the extra information you had to stomach just to end up at a meat and potatoes moment in school? This makes things a little easier with a great index and pertinent information delivered frankly. It is nice to have on hand when trying to mull over old thoughts of nursing school or maybe for a sanity check. Hardly comes out during work, but sited after shift most days thinking about that one you just wanted to know what was happening. Or just brushing up randomly and the universe throwing you into what you read the day before. Small, informative, and worth the money.

Great overview of diagnoses/situations that may land someone in the ED. I’m coming to the ED after 2.5 years in neuro/neuro ICU and my unit has limited orientation materials so this has been a great way to reorient myself to many nursing topics on my own.

Overall it was fairly basic and mostly stuff you should remember from school but definitely a worthwhile read as a refresher

Great guide! I've been working in the ED for a little over two years and find this book super helpful. I wish I would've had this book as a new grad as it explains everything in a compressed yet thorough way.
