Reasonably strong lanyard that I like very much. It probably wouldn't withstand an altered patient in an ICU or psych unit looking at it, thinking "Shiny!" and giving it a good hard yank...it's not a breakaway. But for most settings, I think it's really pretty, yet sturdy. I put a charm button retractable badge clip on it (which is far more length than I need) and hang them together in my car. I choose the badge clip or the lanyard based on what I'm wearing (I don't wear scrubs every day anymore.)

This is a wonderful lanyard. It is solid metal, so it is not held together with beading cord, or whatever you would call it. It is very strong, and looks nice. Also, you can detach the lanyard hook and make it into a long necklace. I highly recommend this product. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, is because I ordered two different lanyards at the same time from Hidden Hollow Beads. This is nice, but it just doesn't have the wow-factor of the slim, multi-colored beaded lanyard that I also purchased. That one I will be rating the 5-stars, as I love it so much. Either way, whatever style you choose, I'm sure you will be very happy with a lanyard purchased through this company.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this lanyard since I started using it a month or so ago. I liked it at first, although the chain on the back of my neck annoyed me more than a regular lanyard would. I have had to order a different lanyard though because the chain knotted and it's impossible to fix. This wouldn't be a problem for someone who hangs up their lanyard every day, but I keep mine in my car console so I can swipe in and out of my parking garage, then I have to wear it around my office. The chain tangled while it was in my console. It's now almost too short to fit over my head.
