I won't bother to write a super long review and will arrive straight at the point for anyone who just needs to know whether these elastics are a hit or a miss. They are indeed a hit. They get the job done and yes they actually do feel durable and strong when wearing them on my brackets. They don't break easily either. If you're in a jam and need some elastics to get you through until your next appointment, give these a shot, and the colors are a nice bonus too. Also for the record, my elastic pattern is class 2 triangles on both my left and right side so even with all that stretching they still stay nice and tight!

I purchased these little bands to help with my eyeglasses as they were always slipping down my face. It is extremely humid in Central Texas. After placing one band on each side of the frames where the screws connect both parts of the frame, the bands added a bit of resistance to the earpieces. This helps my glasses stay in place on my face for weeks at a time. The bands can be added as a single loop or doubled consistent with individual need. I do adjust the bands occasionally; however, they stay in place for the most part. For those of us who do not have time to visit the optical clinic for regular eyeglass adjustments, this is a practical solution.

I don't use these for their intended purpose, but rather as stitch markers for my knitting projects. I find they have just enough stickiness to not jump off the needles when it's time to slip the marker, but not so much stickiness that it's a pain to slip them. The different colors allows me to easily mark the beginning of the round and additionally pattern repeats. As opposed to hair elastics, which droop, these have and maintain their round shape, so don't risk getting snagged into the yarn. And if I forget to remove them and have already bound off, I can just cut them out!
