The feedback the putting tutor provides takes the mystery out of missing putts and will help you become a better PUTTER! pelz putting tutor will help you: improve green reading, square your PUTTER face, verify eye position, and putt like the pros. The putting tutor's special features: designed to Identify the putts you strike squarely and start rolling on-line, putting tutor features a guide line to help aim your putt on the exact chosen line for your putt, the tutor's eye position stripes allow you to verify consistent eye position at address, consistent eye position is necessary for great putting fundamentals, the tutor's flat back edge helps you square your PUTTER face at address. The putting tutor has two marbles at its front edge, which tell you whether or not you've just made a "pure strike" and started a putt on line. If your putt dislodges a marble, it means your ball started off-line. Read a medium putt and hit it through the gate. Did it go in? No? Why not? Too high, too slow, too low? I'm giving my medium putts more pace and challenging the hole. I miss on the high side but my goal is to always at least graze the hole. The 3' come backers are no sweat.Most of us lag even 6-10' putts but great players do not. Pelz is a golf legend. This may be a golf gadget that works well - hell, there are pros that say they endorse it. Mickelson has a nice blurb but not specifically about this product. More about working with Pelz. That is the key. There is no Pelz in the box. In fact, there is not a single instruction from Pelz in the box. You are invited to go online and watch a video. But even that video does not explain the theory or reason for the gadget. Dave needs to include something, anything, with the gadget. If I'm spending close to $50, I expect at least a poorly worded Chinese instruction sheet.

Now the gadget itself is of questionable use. It sits off the ground so much that it forces you to lift the putter into an unnatural position. There is no need for the little feet on the bottom. It is useless indoors but can be buried into a green so long as nobody is watching. There is no check on your head or eye location. Are my eyes over the ball? To get maximum use, you need one of his "O" balls (3 for $10) because without them this is useless. Come on Dave, toss in a ball for $50. And finally, there are the ball bearings. No instructions as to why and when you should use them, place them, or if you have progressed to move them, how you know you progressed. Maybe I'm overthinking this (the whole problem with my game) but as a coach, shouldn't you offer some relief or at least instruction? Even in Chinese?

All in all this is not remotely worth the money. I sent it back and got an "Eye Line" gadget instead - the larger one. That has lines for your eyes, your shoulder, spots for take-away and delivery of the ball and instructions.
