BUY THIS ONE! (Medium/Heavy Beard Owner) Why I Think This Is The One...
Preface: My beard is what I would call "Medium/Heavy" as it is not super thick, but I must shave every day not to look like a hobo; after 12 hours I'm rough again. Also, my skin is prone to ingrown beard hairs if using a crappy razor.OK, so I had an older Norelco which lasted for-absolutely-ever. But it finally got so dull and tired I needed an upgrade. I read a LOT of reviews here, and compared all the models. After doing so, I wanted to buy a good one, but not break the bank in the process. This was the model I decided to try and I'm really glad I did. Each time I shave with this razor I have been impressed with the quality of the shave I get for the time spent. This razor is really efficient; each pass does way more work than others I have used, so shaves are fast and short. My skin gets pissed off easy so I run this razor in the low speed setting and it has been the least irritation of any razor I have owned. The battery indicator is nice to have and between spending less time shaving and a good battery, the charge lasts a Very long time. Despite the directions saying so, I do Not clean this every single shave, unless I used it wet. Seems like I get a few days of dry shaves before I need to tap it out. My side burns grow fast so I really need a trimmer to use every week or two, the one included here works great without digging up your skin! It also comes with a large charging base and the cleaning station/system, including one tub of the solution. Not to cast shade, but I find these things a waste of time. I'd feel lazy not to spend one minute to clean the damn thing efficiently myself and move on. Maybe I am wrong and have missed the boat on the cleaning station, but I travel and really have not bothered with it much - maybe it works well. Overall, I chose this model for the best mix of features I needed. Here are the highlights once again summarized:* Good shave: If it doesn't shave well, who cares about the other features.* Shaving speed: You can slow this one down or speed it up - slow is real easy on the skin.* Efficient cut: This razor does a Ton of work in each pass; my shaving time cut in half!* Long battery life: Like 50 hours of shave on a charge - also lasts longer due to efficiency.* Easy clean: Simple to clean, but tap out dry, don't do every single time, unless wet use.* Trimmer: Must have sideburn trimmer for my use, included and works well.* Comes with a nice, small hard case to protect it when you travel.* Replaceable shaving head and can use other "Click" attachments.* Adjustable beard groomer available, but not included.* Includes the big cleaning base and one solution.* Charging cord included of course.Anyway, it's Amazon! Buy it and run it for 29 days to find out if it works for you!Else send it back! Hope you like it as much as I have. Cheers.
