Ran this along the underside of an eave
I mounted this using 3M VHB 1/2" double sided tape.Since it was outside, I had to come up with a solution to get the plug (with integrated fuse) into a socket, so I bought an outdoor extension cord and a weatherproof cover for the plug and mounted that under the eave also. I cut the other end of the extension cord off and ran it through a cable gland through an exterior gang box cover and hard wired it to the Romex in the box. See pics.The power is switchable from inside the house, so this is a nice replacement for the old exterior light fitting.
