This is a great four film collection to own the action is non-stop and the storylines behind these films are awesome... Jackie Chan has always been one of my favorite action superstars, he is a great martial artist and comedian his films seem to never disappoint me and Rumble In The Bronx is one of his greatest if not the greatest film he ever made, the action scenes are awesome, Jackie Chans use of Wing Chun kung fu is legendary a big five star rating to all that had anything to do with making this great movie. The Corrupter is a great cop movie and the action scenes are ok with a good storyline to boot. Showdown In Little Tokyo is Brandon Lee's second American film, the first he made in America was the low budget film Lasser Mission, in Showdown In Little Tokyo he stars alongside Dolph Lundgren, these two make a great team, they work together great. Brandon Lee is one of my all time favorites he was one of the best martial artist superstars of all time, if only he could have made more movies, who knows what he would have came up with by now. May you Rest In Peace Brandon Lee, we all miss you very much. BLOODSPORT is a great Jean-Claude Van Damme movie this movie has a lot of great fight scenes and is supposedly based on a true story, which we all know by now that they discovered Frank Dux to be a fraud but I still love this movie, we can't let one idiot mess everything up for us. I highly recommend this four film collection to any martial arts action fan.....

These are not classics in my opinion but they are good solid martial arts films. The two discs in the set I received were labeled WIDESCREEN on the discs and played nicely on my dvd player and HDTV once I selected a good screen format. You can get this at a great price through Amazon sellers.

Here are summarized descriptions based on the back cover of the dvd:

MILITANT EAGLE: A soldier returning home joins forces with villagers seeking justice after their families are brutally slain.

THE PRODIGAL BOXER: Fei Meng plays Fong Sai-Yuk, beloved hero of Chinese lore.

MOONLIGHT SWORD AND JADE LION: Mao Yin (Angela Mao) is a woman on a heroic quest to find her teacher's missing brother.

THE BLOODY FISTS: Yuen Wo Peng stages the tale of a fugitive loner defending a village against marauders.

These are English language versions so no subtitles or original language unfortunately.

These movies are great but the specs on the back of the dvd case is wrong. It claims to have wide-screen versions of Rumble In The Bronx and The Corruptor, and that there are extras such as biographies, trailers, commentaries, and music video. That is wrong. I have listed the correct specs below:

This set is a combination of  Rumble In The Bronx/The Corruptor  and  Showdown in Little Tokyo/Bloodsport  since Rumble In The Bronx and The Corruptor are on a one-sided disc while Bloodsport and Showdown In Little Tokyo is on a double-sided flipper disc. If you can get this set cheap, it's not bad for the wide-screen Bloodsport and if you don't care about having Rumble In The Bronx and The Corruptor in full-screen and without any extras. Otherwise, stick to stand-alone releases.
