I've been ripping my hands like crazy since starting CrossFit. Gloves, tape and chalk only helped so much! But this little bar has gone on to soften my calluses to where even if I forget to shave them down, the rips don't go as deep and my hands are much, MUCH smoother.To me, it's a lemon verbena\sage-y smell. It goes on a little greasy (don't clean your glasses after you apply it!) but soaks in pretty dang quick.

I love the nice, clean scent of this lotion bar. It feels nice on the skin without being greasy at all. I have a child with eczema that uses it whenever her skin is bothering her. It works great and gives her relief from itching and pain. I get cracked finger tips all winter long and this really relieves that condition and helps my cracks to heal. I like the can it comes in and it is so convenient to carry around in my purse all the time.

It didn't melt in my luggage even in New Mexico and the tin is light and small enough to fit in my toiletries kit.

I spent a fair amount of time at a climbing gym this winter so that combined with the cold dry air was not kind to my hands. This seemed a bit pricy for 1 ounce of product but I figured I would give it a try. It does work very well and heals cracked hands pretty quickly. It is also not greasy or sticky which is a problem with most moisturizing products which is a huge plus in my opinion. It also smells nice which is a bonus. While it is pricey it seems like it will last a long time so I believe it is well worth it. I have not yet tried other climbing specific skin products but they all seem to be comparable in price, I will have to see if they are comparable in performance. This one is a winner in my book though.

I'm using this for many years now. I used to buy it from REI climbing department. They did not have it at the local store and I need it fast so amazon to the rescue. I don't know what's up with the low rate reviewers but probably not everyone has the same kind of skin so it may not work the same on all people - no surprise I guess.
As for my part the product does work well and on deep and extensive damage from footwear. It is also nice on hands and gets absorbed relatively quick. I do agree with some reviewers that say the formula somehow changed from the old dark green container and now it is less sticky and faster absorbing. I did like the old formula a little better (see above extensive skin damage - stickier and longer lasting is better). They have some other lotions that could be used for more of delicate hands/regular maintenance use. I'm using it for damage restoration/control so the old formula was more appropriate for that.
I do like the packaging and that can be taken out of the tin and warmed in hands or on contact friction for the desired amount of plasticity before or during application - a great idea. Application is both massaging and covering the area with the good stuff and depending on how much you warm it you can adjust the amount of stuff left on the skin surface.

La uso para las manos cuando escalo varios días. Me la hecho sólo por la noche ya que tarda bastante en absorber. Es muy aceitosa/grasienta por lo que si te la hechas durante el día yo creo que sería bastante incómodo y estarías peguntoso bastante tiempo.
