I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in becoming a freight broker or freight broker agent. I also found the templates helpful.

I rarely write negative reviews as I can always find something useful in any book. NOT THIS TIME. The fact that it is a 67 page book should have been the give away of its' "non-utility." I wanted to like this book, but there is absolutely nothing useful in it. The book makes broad statements about how much money can be made in freight brokerage; repeats the same sentences on different pages several times; is rife with grammar errors; and adds not a thing to the more useful information you can find for free on the internet by googling "freight broker." I have found much more concise and useful information in a google search. I am very disappointed.

Dislike as it as not training. It is just info you can get off searching for 1 hour, if you knew nothing about the field. The booklet has links to go to like a ebook. But no reference you can use. Its crap! Just info about the field. You get what you pay for.

This booklet of 67 pages in Font 18/20 is poorly written: lacks basic fact- checking and accuracy, full of punctuation mistakes and typos and overall very simplistic. For instance, on p.5 the authur incorretly cites name of the law and date, "President Barack Obama enacted Moving Ahead Progress (should be "...FOR Progress in the 21st century") on July 6 2002. In 2002 Obama was not even a senator, he was a community organizer. Another example, advice on how to find new custimers, "potential customers can be found by googling the target company". These are just very few examples that convinced me anyone can write a book, but it is not always a good book.

Not for people trying to grow their current business. Good life experience reflections from the author but, this book is really for people considering starting a brokerage.

This book is a quick overview of the field and doesn't dive into much detail. Save your money for something else.
