The synthesis of meditation and modern neuroscience has sparked a revolution―more than ever, we can use specific practices to create positive, lasting changes in our brains. Lisa Wimberger experienced the power of neuroplasticity firsthand. When conventional medicine offered no answers for her deadly seizures, she created her own regimen of meditation and life practices to heal herself. Today, Lisa has successfully taught her Neurosculpting® method to veterans, first responders, and clients in the most stressful occupations. With Neurosculpting, she brings readers a complete guide to this life-changing process, featuring transformative insights and techniques for:

• Engaging the mind-body connection to shape our neural pathways with positive choices and intentions

• Disarming stress triggers, healing trauma, rewriting limiting beliefs, and liberating yourself from unhealthy habits

• Whole-brained meditation―bringing your brain’s left and right hemispheres into harmony to awaken your full potential

• Integrating lifestyle, diet, exercise, and spiritual practice to create the ideal environment for healing and happiness

• Putting it all together―practical guidance for personalizing your own approach to Neurosculpting

"If you could learn to squeeze the vibrancy and beauty out of each moment of your life," writes Wimberger, "would you say yes to a practice that could get you there?" With an engaging, layman-friendly style that encompasses cutting-edge neuroscience and our human capacity for hope, free will, love, and spirituality, she offers a breakthrough guide for taking charge of our health, happiness, and personal growth.

Lisa Wimberger is the founder of the Neurosculpting® Institute and co-founder of the NeuroPraxis App. She holds a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Stonybrook, NY and a Foundations Certification in NeuroLeadership. Lisa holds additional certificates in Neurobiology, The Study of Neurons, Brains and Synapses, Visual Perception and the Brain, and Medical Neuroscience. As the Founder of the Neurosculpting® modality Lisa runs a private meditation practice in Colorado teaching clients who suffer from stress disorders, and she is a faculty member of Kripalu Yoga and Meditation Center, Omega Institute, 1440 Multiversity and the Law Enforcement Survival Institute.

Lisa began her meditation practice at age 12. Hit by lightning at age 15, and clinically dead on multiple occasions, Lisa uses her traumatic experience as a vehicle for transformation. Lisa studied Ascension training for four years with Ishaya monks. She completed four years of psychic awareness training, applying the tools of the Berkeley Psychic Institute, and is trained in Autogenic Hypnosis. Lisa is the Founder of the Trance Personnel Consulting Group and Ripple Effect, LLC. She has created and facilitated leadership trainings for executive teams in Fortune 500 companies, the Colorado Department of Health Care and worked individually with international management. She has created and facilitated Emotional Survival programs for Colorado Law Enforcement Agencies and peer counsel groups. Additionally, Lisa's services are sought on a national level by individuals in law enforcement looking to find a new way to navigate through their stress patterns. Lisa is an international keynote speaker, and has addressed audiences ranging from corporate leaders to FBI and Secret Service, and has been featured on just under 100 podcasts and radio interviews. Lisa is a member of the National Center for Crisis Management and ILEETA (International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association). I loved this book so much when I bought it on Audible I listened to it three times in a row. Then I bought the paperback version and learned that they have some different content! I feel like I just won the lottery. This book had changed and is changing my life in amazing ways. I am learning, in essence, to be the captain of my own ship. The ship that is me. I still can’t quite figure out how Lisa Wemberger is able to take so much information and make it not only deeply instructional, but also hugely entertaining. If you are a person interested in growing into your best self, run to buy this. If you aren’t, run to buy it anyway because you probably need it more.

One of the most practical books I've ever read. The techniques Lisa teaches you to do in your everyday life, seem trivial, but have made a large impact on my life! If you've never shaked it, you better get this book!

Down to earth: Very relatable: Scientific, spiritual and practical. I enjoyed every word! I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to take the reins of thought and behavior instead of being purely reactive .

I read Lisa Winberger's book, 'New Beliefs, New Brain' last year and was blown away by the effectiveness and simplicity of the Neurosculpting technique. This new book greatly expands on how to take this life altering practice into every corner of your life. Deeply personal, and imminently practical, this is a friendly and accessible book. Stuffed with many exercises, suggestions, and thought provoking ideas on what is possible and achievable, this is a manual for a lifetime.

The only reason I've not rated with 5 stars is that I've not finished reading it. I've only skimmed it so far. Wimberger's work is first rate however so I can imagine this will be any different. She's sharp and has developed a great program that is congruent with my years of study.

This honest, empowering and innovative book is a good read while it's steeped in science and very practical. This book has helped me become a happier, healthier person unlike anything else. Lisa Wimberger deserves much more attention because she has developed and shared real tools based on experience and science that will enable you to live the life you want.

I am working slowly through this book, as I have neurological issues. I find the journaling, and activities given at the end of each chapter to be helpful in re-enforcing the information. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to change their negative self-talk, or retrain their brains after an injury or illness.

It give a different, but interesting, perspective. Not quite like any other self-help book I've seen. Easy to read.
