About the author
Nuanprang Snitbhan is a clinical psychologist specializing in working with children, adolescents, and their families. She received her MA from NYU and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the William James College in Boston, MA. Her depth of experience was gained from working in multiple settings both in Thailand and in the US, including hospitals, schools, and private mental health clinics, for over ten years. She has spoken to audiences in the United States and Asia on the subject of parenting, groupwork, and the challenges of treating children from non-Western cultures.
She has a private practice in Boulder, CO and also works with clients online all over the world.

While mindfulness is a difficult concept to implement, the author has a subtle but effective way of integrating the concept into fun exercises.
The limitation to express negative emotions is usually a barrier between mothers and tween daughters; this book provides insight into healthy ways to mitigate that barrier. I would like to encourage everyone to consider improving their family relationships and strengthening their bonds between mothers and daughters with this book.
