Ordered New, But Came Damaged

I just finished a final for a different class and was so excited to hear that my shiny new books for the next term had arrived! Only, I open one of the boxes to find its contents looking like it was manhandled thrice around the globe. So disappointing and upsetting!! Receiving a "new" book in this condition is worthy of replacement, if not a discount.

I love this book. I took pathophysiology about a year ago, and the visuals and easy explanations really helped me get a solid foundation of pathology. I am now an upper lever Clinical Laboratory Science student and sometimes find myself referencing this book in my upper level courses when I need a simple, to the point answer to help me understand my upper-level course work. This book was my first introduction to pathology and I am greatful. It is very well-written for an introductory level. It gives just enough information without overloading on the details (some textbooks have this problem where it rattles off a bunch of facts before getting to the big picture.) I will NOT be selling this book when I graduate. It is one of my favorite textbooks and I plan to have this for years to come.

This book is dated, but the concepts and layout is very enjoyable. It has quiz and case study questions throughout the chapters with a chapter review test as the end. It is highly detailed concepts for university students. A chapter takes a few hours to process. Enjoy!

I used this textbook for my pathophysiology course and I actually thought it was well structured. Definitions are easy to locate, and the sub content within the sections is really well organize with great figures.

It is helping with my class and I enjoy the illustrations. The format is great; makes for a good learning experience even if the class is very difficult.
