No disappointments, had everything in it I expected to get. Only thing that threw me off was it wasn't a hard cover book. It said "hard copy" when I ordered, but it wasn't until I recieved it that I realized that meant getting a physical book not a digital E book.

Once someone has gone through the first Signing Naturally 1 book, this seems to be a great book in the sequence. There are skills reviewed, yet more skills and vocab introduced. For me, some of the activities are challenging, but for the DVD, it is GREAT practice for receptive skills and just good practice watching. I feel that the order in which my class program is set up is a pretty good idea. We are not following the order of the book, rather, skipping around and pairing up certain chapters. I feel that by the end of this term in my class, I will have acquired more skills, have more practice signing & understanding the grammar of ASL. Thus far, I have nothing bad to say about the book or the "structure" of teaching.

Super helpful when learning ASL. Except the pictures are kind of hard to understand what hand movement you are supposed to be doing. So If you use this book I would recommend using it with a website that can show you a video of the correct hand movement.

This book came without the DVD even though there was no mention that it might not. The book also came with some damage to the pages.

I bought this book as a required text for an ASL class so the DVD is important- it is necessary to do many of my assignments. Now I either have to find a replacement book or some other method to do my homework (the DVD is not found independently of the book).

At least warn customers if the DVD is not included!

The book arrived quickly and was as described. This is a great workbook text and dvd for those who are learning ASL. The exercises really help you to absorb the vocabulary and get used to watching someone sign at a normal pace. If your ASL instructor is Deaf or an active part of the Deaf community, there is a good chance your instructor knows someone in the videos.
