I used this book in preparation for my SCS exam and found it as a very beneficial adjunct to my other study materials. It consists of 100 practice questions formatted very similarly to what you'll actually encounter on the SCS exam. It covers a variety of topics ranging from acute injury management, rehab, return to sport, imaging considerations, etc. The author does a great job of explaining why the correct answer is, in fact, the correct answer and also provides references for each question/answer, which was extremely helpful for exploring further and getting a better understanding of some of the topics I wasn't so confident with. The book helped prepare me for the types of questions I would encounter on the SCS and helped me to refine my critical thinking process, which was invaluable for actually taking the exam. Overall, this was an excellent study guide and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's preparing to take the SCS.

if this book was $25, i would say it’s worth it. but for $40 i would expect no typos or print errors. not to mention that the answers are visible either directly next to the question or through the very thin pages of the book. also most recent evidence used is from like 2014.

it’s a semi-decent addition to other study materials, but not worth it for the price and poor quality.

I used this to prepare for my SCS exam and I found it very helpful. It is essentially just another practice exam (for only $10!) but I felt that the questions were well written and challenging. Furthermore, I thought that the author provided good explanations for the correct answer choices and also gave the user the resource related to the question if they wanted to investigate the topic more thoroughly. I'd recommend it for anyone prepping for the SCS exam.
