About the Author

Geraldine E. Hynes, PhD, is a professor of technical communication at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has taught undergraduate courses in business communication, technical communication, visual rhetoric and document design, and research methods; at the graduate level, she has taught managerial communication, proposals, and instructional design. From 2017 to 2019, she was the director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. She is currently the university’s interim associate vice president for undergraduate education.

 



Jennifer R. Veltsos, PhD, is a professor of technical communication at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has taught undergraduate courses in business communication, technical communication, visual rhetoric and document design, and research methods; at the graduate level, she has taught managerial communication, proposals, and instructional design. The book was used. It was actually falling apart when I received it. I was against ordering a used book especially during covid but it was very affordable. Big plus is that the prior renter highlighted all the main points and topics that we covered throughout the course. I would definitely recommend gluing the book back to the binding. It made it super hard to use being detached from the hard cover. Other than the appearance I really enjoyed the book.
