Purchase options and add-ons

This book has been the most comprehensive book on the Buteyko method since 2006. The first edition was available only as a PDF file which had slightly more than 100 pages. Later, it has several major and many minor updates with added sections, results of new clinical trials, and new chapters. The current edition is about 3 times larger than the initial version. The book was written for Buteyko breathing practitioners and advanced students. It provides practical education in physiology of respiration, as well as some unique details related to the application of the Buteyko method. For example, the book provides a list of factors that is required to break through 40 s morning CP (control pause) threshold: the hardest challenge in breathing retraining and the Buteyko breathing technique. For more details, see the content of the book that includes Chapters and sub-Chapters.

Just read chapter 1. It is the best text book that I learn about normal breathing. Right breathing makes healthy. CO2 is not toxic but it is essential key for O2 supply to the cells. I have learned in the past that deep and long breathing using chest to inhale most of O2 and exhale most of toxic CO2 out of the lung is wrong method. Thank Dr. Buteyko for his finding that change the basic believing of the people. Unbelievable Buteyko breathing method can cure most of chronic diseases. I am going to practice to change my breathing method and tell friends to know about.

During the last 10 years Artour Rakhimov became on of the most knowledgeable authors about breathing normalisation. He is one of the biggest influences on my own way of learning everything about physiology breathing. This book is a bible for many people interested in breathing optimisation. It helped me to understand the deep ties between the aspects of breathing and the health issues of our human race. The book deals with many aspects of modern life, influencing the way we breathe - and thus our immunity, our metabolism on a cellular level. If you want to find in-depth explanations of the way Buteyko training works and the common issues the practitioner meets on his/her way - then this book is definitely for you. I believe it has a potential of becoming your breathing bible - as it became for me since I bought the first PDF-edition. Highly recommended, really!

This is not the kind of book you read from cover to cover in one go. You dig into the area of your interest .... and a few days later a client asks you a question which you are not too sure how to answer and Normal Breathing is the answer .... you find everything about the Buteyko Technique and what normal breathing is.
I wish all doctors, nurses and health persons would read this book. It would literally change the world.
Enjoy!

I read more then 15 books about the Buteyko method and more than 30 about breathing all together. This book has by far the highest scientific quality and also the deepest explanations of most aspects of breathing retraining. It is also complicated and very advanced and although it is the most profound theoretically, it is mainly for people who know the method already (practically). If people do not know practical breathing retraining, they should first read another more practical book or better take classes with a good teacher. But then this book is a very good choice. It is the bible of breathing retraining at the moment, in my opinion. And every teacher of the Buteyko method would indeed benefit from the book.

Normal Breathing: The Key to Vital Health is the most comprehensive book I've ever read on breathing. It took over a month to read but It was well worth the effort. I thoroughly understand the science behind breathing less and am willing to continue practicing the techniques. This book along with McKeown's The Oxygen Advantage, have greatly improved my health and general well being in the past two months.

I was looking for how to get more oxygene in the cancer patients and this led me to better breathing.... On this research, I crossed a video and also the good success of this breathing method. I have seen also that modern western medicine is ignoring the fantastic results of Dr. Buteyko.

This book is for people wanting to know details and history about the breathing technology. Excellent understanding comes with the pages I read.
