About the Author

Traci B. Fox, EdD, RT(R), RDMS, RVT, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiologic Sciences, Jefferson College of Health Professions, and Research Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology, at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has been a sonographer since 1993 and an educator since 2005. In 2014, she earned her doctorate in education from Drexel University. She has coauthored two textbooks and is author or coauthor of 19 peer-reviewed publications. She has also spoken at local, national, and international conferences.

Traci is an Associate Professor for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Thomas Jefferson University, her alma mater for both her BS and MS degrees. She earned her EdD from Drexel University in 2014. A sonographer with over 20 years of experience, Traci has published several journal articles in the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography including, "Multiple Pregnancies: Determining Chorionicity and Amnionicity" (2006) and "Sonography of the Neonatal Brain" (2009). Traci offers registry reviews in Ultrasound Principles & Instrumentation as part of her quest to get everyone ARDMS registered, and hopes this book helps people achieve that goal.
