Easy to use, easy to read and easy to implement. Whenever one of my friends asks me about how to manage a process, I pull this book off my shelf. I have now ordered three copies! There are no formulas, just understandable health care examples with everyday solutions. It will help you become more efficient in your practice, in the operating room and in the Board room. The authors have a gift of simplifying the vernacular used and making it relavent.

In this book authors B. Ronen & J.S.Plinskin simply outline how to apply the science of operation or process analysis, to health care organizations. As a practicing physician and medical practice President, I found innumerable tips on how to analyze a health care process, and improve it, for the betterment of my health care organization. A hard-to-find easy read, on a complex process. I highly recommend it!

A very practical approach to improving quality and profitability in health care.
LEAN works but takes much more training and takes much more time.
By observing the process and identifying bottlenecks, great gains can be made rapidly.
It is easy to read and understand.
I highly recommend this book without reservation.

Excellent read. Easy and quite enjoyable. Everyone in management or leadership roles should read this. Many ideas are offered that can be applied across any discipline. I am in health care and I was able to gleam much from this book.

This book is a concise, extremely well written roadmap for tackling operational problems in the health care setting. The authors have focused on concepts, and the book has great examples illustrating the methods described. This is sure to become one of those timeless reference books that all health care managers must possess. The techniques are all within reach and have the potential for great improvements in efficiency in any health care setting. I have recommended it to many colleagues who have also found it useful.

This is an extremely well written book. Many tools are presented that help the reader understand health care organization and perform systematic analysis of health care operations; this is done in a clear, concise and stepwise fashion. The book provides many case examples with ample diagrams that translate the principles into practice. It covers many methods and tools used in operations management such as the focusing table and matrix, Pareto analysis, theory of constraints and complete kit concepts. I recommend this highly for those in health care management who want to better utilize current resources while improving quality of care.

I feel so blessed to have this book with me, it was an eye opener in every sense of the word. It tells you how to efficiently manage organizations. The useful examples related to Healthcare can be extrapolated to other domains.

The management by constraint paradigm is clear path to to really make a change in organizations. It is direct blunt and to the point book which I carry with me everywhere I go.
