The Laboratory Manual for Anatomy and Physiology by Allen and Harper presents material in a clear and concise way.  It is very interactive and contains activities and experiments that enhance readers’ ability to both visualize anatomical structures and understand physiological topics.  Lab exercises are designed to require readers to first apply information they learned and then to critically evaluate it.  All lab exercises promote group learning and the variety offers learning experiences for all types of learners (visual, kinesthetic, and auditory). Additionally, the design of the lab exercises makes them easily adaptable for distance learning courses.

I bought this book for a class I am taking as a requirement for the registered nursing program at my school. I paid 1/4 of the price that this book would have cost if I had purchased it from the college bookstore. The book came in a timely manner so that I was well prepared for my first day of class. I couldn't be more pleased with the process and the money that I saved. I only wish that I had always purchased text books this way.

Just as good as the newest version, but for id say 1/20th of the price. The difference between this and the newer version is, some pictures have changed but it's the same content really and a few new pictures have been added to the newer version. However still got by with this manual with an A in my A&P class and lab requiring this lab manual. Don't bother getting the newer version, this will be more than good enough if your class requires this manual.

Used this text for A&P Lab and it was extremely helpful. The diagrams were great to go through and label and it also gave a lot of additional information that is not in the text book. Great book, really aided in my grade and would definitely recommend to A&P students.

When looking around was a comparing prices for a class that wasn't going to be used again. Was a great price and alternative of having to the standard book. Just requires you having a binder for it.

Easy to use and follow the instructions. I love the binder format because I just bring with me only what I need to the lab. It has a lot of great practice exercises along with quality images of different body structures.

Book arrived a day later than promised. Paying extra to receive it was a waste of money. The delay caused a failing grade on a quiz. The book however arrived in good condition and was appropriate for the class.

This workbook is an excellent aid to go along with the textbook. It makes things clearer and they help make learning the material easier. Price a lot cheaper than college bookstore prices. Will definitely use you again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Required textbook for on-line course - NO registration key.

The book is in excellent shape and arrived promptly. I was glad to find my required materials on Amazon because I trust the service and appreciate the free shipping. However, I was extremely disappointed that my materials came WITHOUT a registration key for online access during my course. I paid almost full price (compared to campus bookstore) for these textbooks without the access key. I would have to pay another $112.00 per book to Wiley for on-line privilege. Caveat emptor.
