I wrapped the lights on my fence at my apartament and couldn't be happier. The solar panel works like a charm. Will be buying more.

love these ....they are bright and work really good...ive only stayed up till 3am but they are still going strong at that time!! will see how they work and how long in chicago winter hopefully.....

I only gave them 2 stars because they are solar and don't waste electricity. I absolutely do not like these things. I tried everything to get them to be brighter and they looked so dim and ugly next to all the other beautiful solar lights I bought from ANOTHER company. I will never buy these again. I wouldn't waste a penny on these at least not if your looking for something bright and that turns on each night. These will not do either of those two things. Personally I wouldn't care if there were 6 in the pack I still wouldn't buy these.

Initially the LED lights looks good. The are not super bright but pleasant to look at. But I have serious doubts on the longevity of the product. It is cheaply made and thereby being sold cheap. The product depends on the source manufacturer in china and the seller who puts it for sale on Amazon. So buyers please beware. There are many clones of this in the market and this one seems to be the shoddiest one in the bunch.

In the box I received two sets of LED lights (Thankfully). One warm white color and one slightly bright white color looks that there was a mix-up at the factory? or I got a opened unit? That is disappointing right out of the box. The solar panel is rated for 2v/300mAh But, Having said, In ideal conditions, The LEDs need to be charged for more than 8 hrs in direct sunlight for it to be effective during the dark and usually works for about 6-7 hours before they become dim and barely flicker.

I opened the Solar/Battery unit and found that the LED circuit seems to consumes about 60mAh to 75mAH (DC 1.2v side) of power to drive the 200LEDs depending on the selected mode of operation and the included one Nickel-metal hydride pre-installed battery of capacity "1200mAh" which is also incorrect as the product description says "1800mAH NI-MH Battery"... The electrical joints and connections from the Solar Panel to the Battery charging circuit board is barely done right as the connection was poor and there was no hot-glue or silicone sealant to protect it from damage. Granted there is a o-ring under the four screws to prevent water leakage but the wires and overall construction seems very shoddy.

Bottom-line: Does it work.. ?? (Currently Yes!) - But Overall I am slightly disappointed with the seller as the items were not packaged correctly (Two different colors in one box) and the battery installed was a cheap 1200mAH NI-MH Battery not the advertised 1800mAH NI-MH Battery.

Forced to rate it with 2 stars... You get what you pay for!

Great mood lighting

These are my favorite new camping toy, and I have a camping toy problem. I now own 6 of these. I string them up on a 10 x 10 pop up. 2 or maybe 3 strings and your 10x10 area will be well lit. I should clarify that they are neither dim nor bright. To me. They're just right. But I prefer "mood lighting ". Twice now I've used them for 4 days snd they held their charge the entire time. I did have the solar panels facing the sun during the day. I haven't tested them without the daily recharge. I love these lights. My only tweek would be that all of the settings are unnecessary- I just leave them on instead of blinky blinky. Overall a great product.

I loved these lights. BUT - the first strand lasted two nights and the second strand only one, so am packaging them up for a refund. They were a great deal, and I really liked them - when they worked. I have had other brands of solar strands last for well over a year out here in the desert, so will continue on my search for more durable ones.

Great mood lights

Love these lights. They aren't really bright, not enough to eat under or read, but they look nice and they provide pleasant ambience. They give enough light to hang out on our porch without the glaring light bulbs and ruined night vision. I keep them pretty much out of the rain, but the few times they have gotten wet, there have been no problems. They kick on about a half hour after twilight, and stay lit for at least 6 hours with no noticeable dimming. There have been mornings I have gotten up early to see them still on, though very very faintly, after about 9-10 hours. I will probably get more. The different flash patterns are ok, but I've only used them once or twice. I prefer the steady light.

Great alternative to electric or battery powered lights. Charged for only a few hours before I hung them in our tree, and at nightfall they lighted right up! Lots of modes, still, flashing, twinkling, etc. Very pleased...order arrived super fast two days-delivered on a Sunday! Note the charger does not disconnect from the light string...which would be a great option. So I started hanging from the end connected to the charger to make sure could place it where would get sunlight...but then had to be super careful not to step on it --as is typical all parts are plastic. For the price I am super happy!

They WERE Very Pretty!

They WERE very pretty..... Put these little lights in a potted patio tree, and the solar panel in a potted plant next to it, where the panel had full sun all day. When the lights came on, I was delighted with the look! Lovely little fairy lights!! I was only able to have them in flashing mode, no matter how I tried to change the mode...first disappointment - but that's OK, as they looked pretty, and added a bit of light to an otherwise dark patio. They came on every night at sundown, and stayed on all night! (I get up before sunrise.) I was enjoying them every night thru my diningroom window.... for 2 weeks. We had a few sprinkles one day..not even what you could call showers..and that night, no lights. It says on the sheet included with the lights that they should be fine in any weather, so I don't know if the non-functioning lights have to do with the actual lights or the solar panel. I have not used the second string of lights yet, so we'll see what happens. Bit of a disappointment, though ....

I love these lights

I love these lights. I have them inside my gazebo and run for my chickens since the sun is setting so much sooner. The lights are a soft glow-not bright like white Christmas lights. They turn on right when the sun goes down and they stay on pretty much all night when it is sunny, they go out earlier in the am when it is cloudy. I will be buying more.
