I used this at a bridal shower and it was a huge hit. However, it got really messy because the topping trays are maybe 1/4" deep, we had to keep refilling the trays and when you put a spoon in it the toppings go everywhere... and you need to use smaller apples for this. I would recommend using this for a small party for less of a mess.

I Iike the compact design. I used this with apple wedges instead of the whole apple. It was a hit at the three events I have used it at so far.

We decided to do a birthday with Carmel apples instead of cake. Even the adults loved it. It was so much fun. Only thing is we used a apple cutter and cut them then dipped them so we could have more good stuff on each bite.

JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN!!!!

If you plan on hosting any fall parties, or even attend anything festive, what better way to get in the Autumn spirit than making your own customized caramel apples? Just be warned: Your kids will love this...and they'll keep bugging you to use it again and again, along with Nostalgia's chocolate candy bar maker.

The Carmel recipe that came with this is awesome, I haven't tied the others. It is a nice one time sort of thing. It doesn't fit in the box after taken out and there are a lot of pieces to wash. I lent it to a friend to use for her boys, and it would be a nice party item. Just nothing you want to drag out just because.

Super disappointed. I bought this for a party and thought it included the toppings as shown in the pictures. I bought the apples and opened it and there was nothing. Wasn't expecting that and then the crock pot didn't work. Maybe I didn't read the description fully but it isn't worth the money.

When you use not their recipe, the caramel is not entirely melted. Still fun, but not maximum fun. For any time you want your children to enjoy the bittersweet experience of adulthood waiting for a slow cooker to finish, this product is maximum fun. If you want to survive, don't use red apples. A+

Made drunken apples for Valentine's day and this made is sooooo easy. Chocolate took forever to melt so I melted then used this to keep it warm. Love all the trays, was able to have all the sprinkles I needed in one station
