Looks like the photo but very fragile

The mug I received looks just like the photo. However, I received a damaged cup. There is a hole in the handle. I don't know what the outside is made of, but it is very thin and brittle. This is not a cup for drinking but more for decoration. Gave it 2 stars because it looks like the photo, but no more than that because I purchased this thinking it would be a USABLE cup, plus, of course, the damage on the cup I received.

Awakeneth thine inner bad @$$ whilst thou chuggeth caffeine rich elixir from this mug and slay the day... The mug I received has a heavy weight to it and is fairly good quality. The stainless metal insert is slightly crooked and just a bit higher at the back of the mug compared with the front. Avoid resting your fingers in the "eye sockets" when having a hot drink as it seems the paint may rub off onto your fingers a bit. Otherwise, I've used it for 1-2 hot cups of coffee just about every morning for a couple months and it has held up well. I only handwash/rinse the inside as needed. Have never put it in the dishwasher.

I am completely in love with this product. There does seem to be a slight design flaw of a small gap between the outside skull and the lip of the metal lining; a small amount of water collects in this gap after hand washing. I used a clear sealing product to prevent water from getting in and creating mold. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Great look, bad paint

I bought this for an anniversary present and it was a total hit. He loves skulls and so he fell in love with this mug. He drinks from it daily but the paint is coming off in large flake chunks. Not really worth the money, great mug if you dont plan on using it much though!

Dont buy this cup to drink out of. The resin its made of stinks badly. It infects your coffee horribly and makes it undrinkable. I even tried to wash it again and have a second cup. It tastes like poison chemicals. Also the steel insert is in no way sealed to the resin, it is so open that just washing it filled a quarter cup of water trapped between the body and insert. When i turned it over it poured out in a small steady stream for 10 seconds. If you want this to look cool on your deak holding pens and pencils then go for it but unless you love the taste of poison chemical ass, dont drink from it. Its gotta cause cancer or something.

For someone who loves skeletons and vikings, this is a must have! It's a pretty heavy-duty mug and the stainless steel keeps your drinks cooler longer. I haven't tried any warm liquids yet like coffee or hot chocolate, but I'll be sure to update this review if it ends up damaging the mug.

The only complaint I have is that the steel insert, where the liquid goes, has a small open seam that lets water get into the resin casing when the mug is being washed. I'm hoping this won't cause long-term damage, and it's very possible this is only the case with my product, but as of right now, this is an awesome mug and a great purchase!

Looks awesome but garbage. Made out of painted resin. Doesn't keep beverages hot or cold very long, smells funny when resin heats up from coffee, tea etc. Good for cold liquids with ice. Poorly constructed.

UPDATE: After sealing the rim of the cup using a product called "5 second fix" , no more water gets between the steel liner and the resin cup. Also the his created an air barrier which has improved the thermal properties of the cup. The sealant is uv light cured plastic and is clear. If the cup maker had simply done this process to the cup during its manufacture, the quality would be higher. My rating of 2 stars stands as it took my efforts to improve the quality of the product.

I thought this would be a cheaply made product for the price. However, it's holding up quite nice. The steel inside keeps drinks a little warmer or cooler than a porcelain mug would. I may not be a Viking, but I drink coffee like one!

I got this for my son as a gift and was surprised at the quality. He actually used it several times for coffee before I could warn him that it might not hold up and might be better suited to show off than to actually drink out of. But hey, it is still going strong after coffee every day for a few weeks.
