Young's brief biography describes her as one who, "derives from Brigham Young", but was born in Indiana, traveled extensively, taught, wrote poetry and prose, and at one time in the Gare Lazare in Paris, lost seven suitcases of manuscript. They were retrieved by seven men from Cook's with seven wheelbarrows!
